Delivery takes the right space and access. Here's what our trucks need, how placement works and what to expect on delivery day, so your container lands right the first time.
Site checklist
Trucks make wide turns. Make sure there is space to swing in, clear gates and line up for the drop.
A loaded truck can weigh around 45,000 lbs. Mud, wet grass or soft fill can sink it, and drivers may refuse an unsafe site.
The truck needs about 12 ft of width plus a straight line to slide the container off:
- ~75 ft for a 20'
- ~100 ft for a 40'
- Extra room to pull away
The truck is 13'6" tall on the road and up to 16' when tilted. Check for power lines, branches and roof overhangs.

Planning your delivery
Check the whole route in: driveways, gates and tight corners. The truck and trailer need room to maneuver all the way to the drop spot.
Keep about 12 ft of width and 16 ft of height clear along the approach and at the drop spot. Low wires and tree limbs are the most common problems.
Choose a level, firm spot. Gravel, concrete pads or railroad ties work well. Soft ground or steep slopes can delay or prevent placement.
Pick and mark the exact spot before we dispatch. Where the container can go depends on how the truck can approach it.
Tell us which way you want the doors to face. It's set by how the truck backs in, and it's hard to change once the container is down.
Most deliveries happen 3–7 business days after you accept your quote, depending on depot stock and your site being ready.
